BJJ + Travel Bug = BJJBug.net
I've been studying various styles of martial arts for the past 15+ years. These include: Kajukenbo, Shotokan, Shorin-Ryu, Judo, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Currently, I hold the rank of Black Belt in Shorin-ryu, Black Belt in Shotokan Karate, and Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
BJJBug.net was created to share my personal experience and journey in the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) along with my love for travel. The name of the blog comes from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu's abbreviation "BJJ" along with the common phrase "Travel Bug". I find that when traveling and visiting other academies, I always end up meeting amazing people. I've always had a deep appreciation for other cultures and customs. My goal is to train in all 50 states and 50 different countries before opening up my academy. I hope to bring what I learn back from my journey to share with my current students, training partners, and future students.
